As the District Manager you are responsible for developing and executing the business strategy for a district consisting of multiple stores. You must be an exceptional leader who can motivate, inspire, and develop store management teams to maximize sales and profits, create an exceptional work experience for all employees and ensure an extraordinary customer experience to each and every customer.
Here's Some Of What You'll Do
- Recruit top talent to lead the district's teams to deliver on our commitment to provide an outstanding shopping experience to every customer. Establish internal and external succession plans
- Visit all stores on a weekly basis and support with future store openings by building a strong opening team
- Train, coach, develop, motivate and inspire all store teams to ensure high level of engagement, which includes providing a safe, healthy inclusive work environment
- Coach and direct store management teams to maximize sales versus budget through monitoring labour costs and utilizing profit/loss statements to assist Store Managers with diagnosis of sales/service issues and executing tactics to resolve.
- Monitor the product needs of the stores in accordance with the determined product budget and ensure that the optimal range of products maximizes profitability. Review and analyze the top sellers report (Top 10, Top 40) to support the team with analysis and suggestions in order to contribute to increased sales in the stores
- Ensure all visual presentation directives are implemented and executed to the company requirements to drive sales and meet/exceed customer expectations
- Ensure compliance with all country/local laws and regulations in the areas of health, safety, labour and employment, as well as any applicable company policies, guidelines, and procedures. Communicates all pertinent Company information to Stores.
Here's What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of Retail leadership experience in a multi-unit management role; fashion industry would be considered an asset.
- Proven business, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Self-motivated, and able to work well under pressure and meet or exceed deadlines with minimal supervision
- Ability to inspire and motivate teams, and advocate and lead teams through change
Leading The Fleet By
- Continuous Improvement: Implement continuous improvement initiatives within the Loss Prevention department, staying updated on industry best practices and technologies to enhance overall efficiency.
- Training and Development: Develop and conduct training programs for store staff on loss prevention practices, safety protocols, and emergency response procedures.
- Technology Integration: Stay abreast of technological advancements in surveillance and loss prevention tools; recommend and implement new technologies to enhance security measures.
- Ethical Standards: Uphold the highest ethical standards in all loss prevention activities, ensuring compliance with legal and company policies.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate potential threats.

- Training Effectiveness: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, audits, and measurable improvements.
- Innovative Solutions: Recognition for introducing innovative solutions that effectively reduce theft, fraud, and inventory shrinkage.
- Team Development: Assess and enhance the professional development of team members, tracking career growth and internal promotions within the department.
