We take pride in high-quality workmanship, attention to detail, and a team-focused approach on every job site.Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced Concrete Former/Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of all aspects of concrete work — from forming and pouring to finishing and curing. This position involves working on foundations, slabs, patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structural and decorative concrete elements.Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine formwork requirements.
  • Build, set, and strip concrete forms for foundations, walls, slabs, and flatwork.
  • Place, level, and finish concrete to required textures and specifications.
  • Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently (e.g., screeds, trowels, floats, saws).
  • Ensure proper concrete placement, consolidation, and curing.
  • Maintain clean and organized job sites while following company safety policies.
  • Work collaboratively with other trades and site supervisors to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in concrete forming and finishing.
  • Strong understanding of concrete materials, methods, and finishing techniques.
  • Ability to set grades, formwork, and reinforcing steel.
  • Physically capable of performing demanding labour in various weather conditions.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • WHMIS and Working at Heights certifications are considered an asset.
