Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as a stock person. This role is vital in maintaining the smooth operation of our retail environment by ensuring shelves are stocked, merchandise is well-presented, and the store remains clean and organized. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently independently. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable retail and organizational skills in a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

  • Restock shelves with merchandise, ensuring products are correctly labelled and displayed according to company standards
  • Maintain cleanliness of the stockroom, including cleaning shelves, aisles, and other designated areas
  • Fulfill E-Commerce orders
  • Manage inventory levels through proper merchandising techniques and report low stock items to management
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks around the store to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met
  • Organize stockroom areas for easy access and efficient inventory management
  • Support team members with additional tasks such as unloading deliveries

Skills

  • Previous experience in retail/stock preferred
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs min.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork
  • Organizational skills to manage stock levels and maintain store appearance
  • Basic cleaning skills to uphold cleanliness standards within the store environment
  • Must be time efficient

Job Type: Part-time
