Apple's Sales organization generates the revenue needed to fuel our ongoing development of products and services. This, in turn, enriches the lives of hundreds of millions of people around the world. Our sales team is, in many ways, the face of Apple to our largest customers.
As a Strategic Executive, you will lead Apple's engagement with the Government of Canada. You will identify and develop strategic opportunities where Apple's products and platform can deliver impactful and measurable value-enhancing citizen services, modernizing the public servant digital experience, and unlocking operational efficiency through bold, technology-led transformation. You will develop trusted relationships across senior government stakeholders, align Apple's solutions with public sector priorities, and lead cross-functional teams to architect and implement strategic, scalable initiatives. This is a role where commercial excellence meets public sector purpose-and where every win delivers not just revenue growth, but real public good. With your deep expertise of Public Sector, strong collaboration skills, and passion for sales impact and societal progress, you will help shape the future of government in Canada - with Apple at the core.
Description
In this role, you will:
- Drive revenue growth by developing and executing strategic account plans that align with departmental priorities and Apple's sales objectives, accelerating adoption of Apple products, platforms, and ecosystem across the Government of Canada.
- Identify and cultivate high-value sales opportunities through demand generation, pipeline development, and proactive prospecting-while managing accurate forecasting and ensuring timely execution and fulfillment.
- Build strong, influential relationships within key government departments and across the supporting channel partner ecosystem-aligning Apple's value proposition with the Government of Canada's digital transformation strategy.
- Act as a trusted advisor, positioning Apple's ecosystem and solutions to solve business challenges, enable innovation, and unlock long-term platform adoption.
- Leverage deep understanding of the Government to influence buying decisions, elevate the employee and citizen digital experience, and support customers through every stage of the transformation journey.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams-including Major Accounts, Carrier, Channel, and strategic solution partners-to drive joint go-to-market efforts and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
12+ years of related experience preferred
Bilingual fluency in French and English is highly preferred
Experience with C-level stakeholder mapping and executive engagement is a plus
Familiarity with Apple's platform and solid understanding of public sector IT environments, including messaging, collaboration, Wi-Fi, client management, and security technologies
Passion for continuous improvement with the curiosity to uncover gaps, resilience to manage ambiguity, and drive to optimize processes and create solutions
Strategic thought leadership to inspire and influence across various levels and functions
Background partnering with field sales, channel sales, field engineering, marketing, and enablement teams
Forward-thinking approach and tenacity to drive what matters
High level of integrity, trust, and accountability to do what's right
Minimum Qualifications
Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience
Background in technology sales, consultative selling, strategic account development, and/or similar function attaining revenue targets and driving business growth with the Government of Canada
Experience leading transformational sales motions and influencing policy-aligned digital initiatives
Significant industry expertise with broad-scale understanding the Public Sector market (e.g., technology ecosystem, use cases, trends, challenges, opportunities, competitive landscape, etc.)
Deep knowledge of government procurement cycles (e.g., RFP's, RFI's, vendor qualification, etc.)
Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
Ability to distill complex solutions into clear, compelling narratives tailored to diverse audiences, including C-level executive boards and technical teams
Excellent collaboration and relationship building skills, including the ability to influence cross-functionally, navigate organizational structures, and manage complex relationships
Strong business acumen with the ability to understand organizational financials, evaluate market dynamics, and develop strategies for sustained, profitable growth
