We're Hiring: Controls HVAC & G1 Service Technician – Dartmouth, NS

Ready for a new challenge? Advanced Energy Management Ltd. is seeking Controls HVAC & G1 Service Technician in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

What You'll Be Doing:

· Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on HVAC and gas-fired systems (furnaces, boilers, combustion equipment).

· Learn to install, service, and troubleshoot BAS controls (Alerton, Niagara, Reliable, Honeywell).

· Conduct combustion analysis, burner tuning, and gas leak detection.

· Help modernize HVAC/gas systems with high-efficiency equipment and smart controls.

· Educate clients on system performance and automation improvements.

· Collaborate with HVAC techs, engineers, and BAS specialists on innovative solutions.

· Based in Nova Scotia with daily travel to customer sites and occasional travel across Atlantic Canada.

What We're Looking For:

· HVAC Technician with a valid Gas Fitter 1 License (required)

· 5+ years of experience in HVAC, refrigeration, or gas-fitting

· Interest in controls, automation, and energy efficiency

· Strong troubleshooting skills; able to work independently

· Excellent customer service and communication

· Experience with energy or control systems is a plus—training will be provided

· Company service vehicle provided; valid driver's license required
