Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

Gandy & Associates Law Firm is looking to hire a receptionist for our rapidly growing practice. We offer a friendly and cordial environment while making sure to provide the best possible service to our clients. The position is as follows:
THE ROLE
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner;
- Answer phones and relay messages in an accurate and timely manner;
-Manage the lawyer's schedules through Outlook;
-Fill out new client intake forms over the phone;
- Respond to emails in a professional and business-like manner;
- Arrange for couriers to pick up and deliver time sensitive documents to clients and court;
-Personally courier time sensitive documents to other lawyers offices or banks;
- Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc;
-Other administrative and clerical duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written);
- Strong typing skills (at least 50 words per minute);
- Reliable transportation;
- Excellent communication skills (comfortable dealing with people at all levels);
- Strong understanding of computer programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.);
-Ability to perform all tasks as assigned with attention to detail and minimal supervision;
-Ability to work independently, as well as a team player;
-Proficiency in French is an asset.
