Role Description

This is a hybrid volunteering role for a Content Ideation Volunteer, located in North York, ON. The volunteer will be responsible for brainstorming and developing creative content ideas, crafting written materials, participating in the creation of content strategies, managing content, and ensuring alignment with the organization's mission. They will collaborate closely with the team to contribute to SheRising's educational and advocacy goals.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Web Content Writing, Writing, and crafting engaging content
  • Experience with Content Strategy and Content Management processes
  • Strong Communication skills, both written and interpersonal
  • Collaborative mind-set with the ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Passion for education, social equity, and community empowerment
  • Prior experience in nonprofit or educational organizations is an asset
