Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to support our team in various administrative and accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience with accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles. This role is essential for maintaining efficient office operations and ensuring accurate financial records.
Duties
- Provide administrative support to the team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing files.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Perform bookkeeping tasks, including account reconciliation and bank reconciliation.
- Assist in payroll processing and maintain payroll records.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero for financial reporting and analysis.
- Conduct account analysis to ensure accuracy in financial statements and budgeting processes.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline office operations and improve efficiency.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while adhering to company policies.
Requirements
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliation, and bank reconciliation.
- Experience with payroll processing is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
