The Role
Our Mitchell Plastics Kitchener location is looking for a Material Handler to join the Production Team. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be primarily responsible for:
- Forklift operation
- Keeping all production equipment supplied with materials
- Keeping Machine Operators supplied with components and packaging
- Maintaining cleanliness of the plant floor
- Emptying and cleaning grinders
- Transporting finished product to the appropriate staging area
- Anticipating and preparing for all actions that prevent the occurrence of product, process and quality system non-conformance
Qualifications and Skills
- Forklift experience is required
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attendance
- Flexibility to work any shift
