Quality Designer

Role Summary
As a Frostbite Quality Designer, part of the User and Support Engagement (FUSE) team reporting to a Development Director, you'll support our partners across EA, monitor community channels, and analyze feedback to evaluate Frostbite's quality. You'll work with cutting-edge technology alongside industry experts. This is a hybrid remote/in-office role.

Responsibilities

  • Primary relationship management for supporting our EA partners
  • Engage in internal support channels
  • Liaise between customers and internal development teams
  • Ensure requests are acknowledged and actioned
  • Test findings, collaborate with QA, and suggest documentation changes
  • Understand and participate in quality strategy and meetings
  • Provide success metrics and feedback
  • Collaborate on documentation integration
  • Enhance release quality with data analytics

Your Success
You Will

  • Learn about Frostbite tools and services
  • Support and troubleshoot customer requests
  • Provide analytics reports on release quality
  • Understand Frostbite domains and provide them constructive feedback and insights

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in entertainment software or game development, with at least 2 years of QA experience
  • Experience in customer-facing technical/production support
  • Knowledge of support workflows and practices
  • Familiarity with data-driven design and QA strategies
  • Proficiency with tools like Jira, PowerBI, and Google Analytics

Compensation And Benefits
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

PAY RANGES

  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$75,900 - $105,600 CAD

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
