Job Overview
We are seeking reliable and skilled cleaning professionls to join our Mighty team, providing essential maintenance and cleaning services across various commercial facilities. This role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work on diverse projects, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and facility upkeep. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be English speaking, have experience with cleaning tools and custodial tasks, and have a commitment to safety and quality.
Duties
- Conduct standard commercial cleaning tasks such as floor care (vacuuming and wet mopping), surface sanitation, and trash removal, washroom cleaning, windows and litter checks and monitor supply inventory
- Utilize custodial experience to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards
- Handle heavy lifting when moving equipment or supplies safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency, this includes having clean, well organized equipment
- Communicate effectively with clients (rare) and other team members to coordinate tasks and address any issues promptly
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled periods
- Follow safety protocols during all maintenance and cleaning activities
Experience / Requirements
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning, or custodial roles is preferred, though some of our best cleaners have come from office / administration backgrounds and are now thriving as Mighty cleaning professionals
- Reliable vehicle required
- Working cell phone for communication
- Own apropriate commercial cleaning equipment / supplies is an asset
- Ability to lift heavy garbage bags and carryout physical cleaning tasks
- Excellent (English) communication skills
- Minimum $2M liability insurance
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
