Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth dining experience. Your exceptional guest service skills will help set the tone for an enjoyable visit, while your attention to detail will ensure that all reservations and seating arrangements are handled efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize flow and guest satisfaction.
  • Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials or promotions.
  • Maintain communication with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
  • Utilize POS systems, such as Micros POS, for managing reservations and orders.
  • Uphold high standards of hospitality throughout the dining experience.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with food service operations and restaurant etiquette.
  • Ability to handle phone inquiries with proper phone etiquette.
  • Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus.
