Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled automotive mechanic with solid hands-on experience in general repairs. The ideal candidate will be confident performing core jobs such as ball joints, struts, control arms, tie rods, brakes, and oil changes, and will complete all work to professional shop standards. Strong organization, efficiency, and the ability to help manage inventory are important qualities for this role. Automotive license is an asset but not required. We are seeking a motivated mechanic who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and grow with our team.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and hand tools
  • Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
  • Use power tools and welding equipment for repairs and assembly tasks
  • Conduct heavy lifting as needed to move parts or equipment safely
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides to accurately identify issues
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance needs clearly
  • Assist in vehicle assembly or component installation when required

Qualifications

  • Proven mechanic experience with a strong understanding of automotive systems
  • Dealership experience preferred but not required
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
  • Mechanical knowledge of vehicle components and repair techniques
  • Ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively
  • Experience with automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics
  • Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various positions for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
