Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of equipment and systems. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with computer hardware and networking, and the ability to interpret schematics and wiring diagrams. The Technician will play a critical role in ensuring operational efficiency and safety across our facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
  • Troubleshoot issues related to computer networking, hardware, and low voltage systems
  • Use hand tools and diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve technical problems
  • Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to facilitate repairs
  • Conduct inspections to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely
  • Assist with installation of new systems or upgrades as needed
  • Document maintenance activities and repair procedures accurately for record-keeping purposes
  • Collaborate with team members to improve system performance and reliability

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of computer networking principles and hardware components
  • Mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools for repairs and maintenance
  • Familiarity with computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques
  • Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals effectively
  • Experience working with low voltage electrical systems is preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Good communication skills to collaborate within a team environment
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently
