Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of equipment and systems. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with computer hardware and networking, and the ability to interpret schematics and wiring diagrams. The Technician will play a critical role in ensuring operational efficiency and safety across our facilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
- Troubleshoot issues related to computer networking, hardware, and low voltage systems
- Use hand tools and diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve technical problems
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to facilitate repairs
- Conduct inspections to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely
- Assist with installation of new systems or upgrades as needed
- Document maintenance activities and repair procedures accurately for record-keeping purposes
- Collaborate with team members to improve system performance and reliability
Skills
- Strong knowledge of computer networking principles and hardware components
- Mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools for repairs and maintenance
- Familiarity with computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals effectively
- Experience working with low voltage electrical systems is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills to collaborate within a team environment
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently
