As our Senior Accountant you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, support business unit decision-making, and drive continuous improvement through process optimization and automation—while upholding IFRS standards and contributing to a collaborative, high-performance finance team.

What you'll do:

• Timely and Accurate Reporting: Ensure month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statements are completed accurately and on schedule, in compliance with IFRS.
• Process Ownership: Maintain and improve accounting processes, leveraging automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, BlackLine, Copilot, Alteryx) to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
• Audit & Compliance Support: Prepare audit schedules, respond to auditor inquiries, and uphold internal controls and compliance standards.
• Mentorship & Team Support: Support junior team members through guidance and knowledge sharing, contributing to a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Stakeholder Partnership: Act as a reliable finance partner to business units, providing insights, resolving issues, and supporting strategic initiatives.

What you have:

• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in generative AI tools to streamline financial reporting, automate routine tasks, and accelerate personal productivity.
• Keen interest in solving problems and identifying process improvements.
• Proven ability to collaborate and manage BU partner relationships.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Skilled in conflict resolution and able to humbly communicate messages.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS.

The typical hiring range for this position is $82,000-$92,000 annually complemented by a bonus plan; the base pay is determined by market location and job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education.
