Hiring 2nd and/or 3rd year apprentice electrician

Cass Controls Ltd. is a locally owned and operated company in Edson, we are seeking a highly motivated Journeyman Electrician with 5+ years of experience in Residential, Commercial, Industrial, and Oil Field settings. Join our dynamic team servicing a diverse range of projects & communities

Duties

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, industrial and oil field settings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
  • Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete installations and repairs.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using logic controllers and other diagnostic tools.
  • Renovate existing electrical systems to improve functionality or comply with updated codes.
  • Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations during all work performed.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople as needed to complete projects efficiently.

Requirements

  • Experience preferred beyond just residential.
  • Strong understanding of electrical theory and principles.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license.
  • Certifications: First Aid, CSO, H2S, Fall Protection, MEWP, POST (training for some certifications may be provided upon hiring).
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team while managing multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and overtime.
