Overview

Rokion is actively recruiting for the position of Ontario Field Service Technician.

The position will be based out of our New Rokion Regional Repair Facility Located in Val Caron Ontario.

The work will be a mix of Surface and Underground Field Service work on battery electric vehicles, along with some shop work that may include Heavy Equipment / Heavy Truck / Automotive repairs.

The ideal candidate for this position is a highly motivated technician that has proven experience in a related trade ( Automotive / Heavy Truck / Heavy Equipment ) along with excellent electrical troubleshooting and print reading skills.

The successful candidate will be offered a generous compensation package that includes industry leading wages, underground bonus, paid travel, benefits, factory training and other customary Field Service perks that are to be discussed.

Duties

- Travel to client sites to install, maintain, and repair equipment

- Conduct regular inspections and performance tests

- Troubleshoot technical issues and repair equipment

- Collaborate with the engineering team to improve product design and functionality

- Advise clients on proper equipment maintenance procedures

Qualifications & Skills

- Licensed Heavy Equipment Mechanic ( 421 A ) or equivalent ( 310T / 310 S )

- Proven experience in field service or a similar role ( BEV Experience an asset )

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to travel, work independently and manage time effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$55.00 per hour
