Responsibilities
- Project Coordination:Manage day-to-day coordination, organization, and alterations of Physical Premise Count (PPC) project-related activities, technologies, and documentation.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Perform data analysis using various platforms (GIS Data, Excel), oversee project reporting, and deliver completed projects to clients.
- Quality Control:Define quality standards, develop new methodologies for tracking field data quality, and create intuitive dashboards for instant reporting. Raise any quality control issues.
- Communication:Run daily huddles with fielders and other project leads to check progress and ensure work is on track, assign work; lead project meetings, provide scope updates, communicate with different clients, and ensure adherence to service level agreements.
- Training:Offer training to new and existing employees, create training materials, and conduct both classroom and field training.
Requirements
- GIS:Utilize advanced GIS systems (Esri suite, QGIS, Google Earth) and programming skills (ArcPy, Python, SQL) to enhance project efficiency.
- Programming/Coding:intermediate knowledge of ArcPy, Python, Java, HTML, CSS, and SQL, expert proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, and the ability to manage and troubleshoot scripts. Understands complex programming tasks, writes pseudo-code, and collaborates with the software team for implementation.
- Database Management:Experience with tracking assets, managing databases, conducting inspections and audits, and integrating field data into records.
- Telecom and/or Utility Network Experience:basic to intermediate knowledge of the fibre build process, the ability to identify telecom infrastructure equipment, familiarity with telecom design terminology and acronyms, and preferably knowledge of TELUS systems and processes such as TOPPs, Jira, and MyWorld. You can use spatial data and identify assets and talk about utilities as assets.
