We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in the housing industry. Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Conduct financial auditing to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports for management review.
  • Manage payroll processing and ensure timely payment to employees and trades.
  • Perform bank reconciliation to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Develop and monitor budgets, providing variance analysis as needed.
  • Collaborate with corporate finance teams to support strategic initiatives and financial planning.
  • Assist in the implementation of accounting software such as QuickBooks for improved efficiency.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of financial auditing practices and procedures.
  • Proficiency in SAGE or similar accounting software is highly desirable.
  • Experience with payroll processing and related compliance requirements.
  • Solid understanding of corporate finance principles and practices.
  • Ability to perform accurate bank reconciliation tasks efficiently.
  • Expertise in budgeting processes and variance analysis techniques.
  • Familiarity with accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
  • Able to handle multiply companies and ther finacials
  • Able to produce monthly financial reports as needed
  • HR duties as required

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
