We are hiring for a variety of positions. We are interested in candidates that can perform some or all of the following responsibilities and duties. We provide safety and skills specific training for all positions with opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and populate real-time shared schedules to make appointments for outbound and inbound trucks
  • Work directly with customer and third-party logistics representatives.
  • Schedule the ordering of empty rail cars and the release of loaded rail cars.
  • Manage the complete documentation process from receiving paperwork and certificates of analysis through to bills of lading, ensuring accuracy and correct distribution.
  • Ensure car loading paperwork is accurately completed and that copies are filed with customers, regulators, and with on-site records.
  • Ensure spread sheets tracking the movement of products and commodities are updated in real time.
  • Complete regular weekly and/or monthly inventory counts of on-site product.
  • Co-ordinate with truckers, dispatch, and customers on scheduling appointments.
  • Arrange for sample product testing as required by regulator or customers.
  • Maintain organized filing methods for employee records, training certificates, quality programs, technical documents, regulators, and customer documents.

Desired Skills:

  • Degree/diploma in office administration, or office management.
  • Background in transportation / logistics
  • Excellent data processing skills.
  • Strong competency with productivity tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of email systems, familiar working in a paperless environment (excel, pdfs, digital signing, software systems, outlook).
  • The ability to work independently.
  • Safety conscious and safety aware – at all times.
  • Excellent reliability, punctuality, and attendance.
  • Experience working in an industrial environment, warehouse, lumber yard, or rail yard.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
