The Opportunity
We're looking for a
Senior Leasing Manager
to lead the lease-up of
KOVO Kelowna
, a new purpose-built rental community with
192 pet-friendly homes
(1, 2, and 3 bedrooms) just minutes from downtown. Team – KOVO Kelowna
Reporting to the
Chief Operations Officer
, and collaborating with the leasing and property management teams, you'll oversee all aspects of leasing strategy, performance, and team leadership. This is an exciting opportunity for a leasing professional who thrives on achieving results, developing people, and creating an exceptional resident experience.
What You'll Do
Leasing Strategy and Execution
o Develop and implement a comprehensive leasing strategy to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
o Monitor market trends and competitive properties to adjust pricing and marketing approaches.
o Partner with internal and external marketing to optimize lead generation and conversion.
Lead Management and Conversion
o Oversee the full leasing cycle from prospect engagement to signed lease agreements.
o Ensure consistent follow-up and relationship management to convert inquiries into move-ins.
o Establish and monitor KPIs for lead-to-lease conversion rates.
Team Leadership and Oversight
o Supervise, mentor, and support Leasing Managers and onsite leasing staff.
o Provide training and coaching to ensure team success.
o Create a customer-first culture focused on professionalism, responsiveness, and resident satisfaction.
Operational Oversight
o Collaborate with property management to ensure suites are ready for lease.
o Maintain accurate reporting of leasing activity, pipeline, and occupancy forecasts.
o Ensure compliance with company policies, fair housing laws, and provincial tenancy regulations.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of progressive experience in residential leasing, real estate, or property management.
- Proven success leading lease-up initiatives for new rental or multi-family developments.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Knowledge of the BC rental market and tenancy laws.
- Proficiency with leasing platforms and CRM software.
- Real Estate Trading Services License is an asset, not required.
Total compensation for this role is between $80,000 to $130,000.
