Educational Assistant

Location: Hunting Hills High School

32.5 hours weekly

Commencing as soon as a suitable candidate is found until January 7, 2026.

Temporary position replacing a leave of absence.

The successful candidate will provide support to students at the high school level.

Desirable qualifications and attributes:

  • Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent education is an asset
  • Comfortable with both specialized and inclusive programs
  • Experience or training in supporting children with diverse and complex needs or behaviours is preferred
  • Compassionate, patient, and committed to creating a positive learning environment
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a supportive team
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable assisting students with personal care needs, including toileting and lifting as required
