This position aims to strengthen the organization's security posture by enforcing the principle of least privilege and reducing risks associated with unauthorized application execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, implement, and maintain EPM policies for application control and privilege management.
  • Analyze business requirements to design tailored rules that allow legitimate applications while blocking potential threats.
  • Implement secure workflows for temporary privilege elevation.
  • Monitor and audit application execution and privilege elevation activities to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to integrate EPM solutions into existing processes and ensure smooth adoption.
  • Optimize configurations to reduce the attack surface and prevent risks related to malware and ransomware.
  • Contribute to technology watch activities to identify best practices and evolutions in EPM solutions.
  • Train and raise awareness among users on application control and privilege management policies.

Required Technical Skills

  • Strong experience with Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM) solutions, ideally BeyondTrust, CyberArk, or equivalent tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of application control concepts (allowlisting, denylisting, publisher-based rules, signatures, hashes).
  • Hands-on experience with Windows and macOS operating systems (privilege management and security policies).
  • Solid understanding of security principles such as least privilege, Zero Trust, and endpoint hardening.
  • Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python) to automate rule creation and maintenance.
  • Proficiency with monitoring and auditing tools to ensure traceability and compliance.
  • Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot incidents related to privileges and application execution.
  • Basic knowledge of vulnerability management and endpoint-related risk assessment.
