Job Summary:

The North Custom Windows is seeking a reliable and professional Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, timely delivery and pick-up of custom window products to various job sites, suppliers, and vendors, ensuring that all materials are handled with care and professionalism. As a representative of our brand on the road and at customer locations, a strong commitment to customer service and safety is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up windows, doors, glass and other building materials.
  • Load and unload materials with care to prevent damage.
  • Inspect vehicles before and after trips and report any issues to the supervisor.
  • Plan delivery routes to maximize efficiency and timeliness.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Assist with warehouse duties as needed when not on delivery.
  • Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Valid G Ontario driver's license.
  • Clean driving record with a strong safety history.
  • Legal Canadian Citizen
  • Has driven a 26' flat bed truck
  • Experience in delivery driving, preferably in the glass and window industry.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to/over 75 lbs).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Customer service oriented and professional in appearance and demeanor.

Working Conditions:

  • Involves early mornings and occasional overtime.
  • Work involves exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
  • Physical work including lifting, bending, and climbing in and out of trucks.
