We are looking for a Client Service Representative to join our Commercial Insurance team in our Toronto office
As a Client Service Representative, you will be responsible to maintain and service a profitable book of business based upon the company's objectives and individual business plans.

Your day as a Client Service Representative
- Request and follow up with insurers and/or clients for outstanding information, endorsements or policy documentation.
- Prepare proposals for renewals and new business.
- Respond to telephone calls and written inquiries from clients and underwriters.
- Work with the Client Executives and Client Service Managers in negotiating with Insurers and/or changes, renewals and new business where applicable.
- Review policy wordings and other documentation for accuracy and completeness and as required, notes and corrects errors.
- Create abeyance and follow up for outstanding items from underwriters, markets and clients.
- Market own new business and renewals when necessary.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding client's receivables.
- Create and streamline processes.
- Responsible for monthly Bordeaux, where required
- Invoice and manage receivables.
- Other miscellaneous duties and special projects as required.
Our ideal candidate
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Commercial Lines of Insurance.
- Professional designation required (RIBO).
- CIP, CAIB designation an asset.
- Good knowledge of markets and their policy wordings
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well independently, as part of a team
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office applications
- Good knowledge of EPIC is an asset
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Customer focused and service oriented.
- High attention to detail.
