Position Profile:

Humber River Health Foundation

Position: Manager, Sponsorships & Partnerships

Location: Toronto, Ontario (Hybrid – 3 days/week in office, full-time)

Start Date: ASAP

About Us

At Humber River Health Foundation, we're more than fundraisers—we're healthcare trailblazers. As part of Canada's first fully digital hospital, we're driving transformation through innovation, equitable care, and heartfelt connection. Our work is bold, compassionate, and deeply rooted in community. If you share that vibe, you're in the right place.

What This Role Is All About

Are you someone who lights up at the idea of building meaningful partnerships? Do you love crafting sponsorships that feel like magic—for both the sponsor and the cause? Your mission: help us grow strong, long-lasting corporate partners who believe in innovation, community, and healing as much as we do.

You'll be hands-on—from the first hello to the final reporting call—ensuring that every corporate relationship feels memorable, genuine, and impactful.

Your Day-to-Day Magic

Here's what a typical day might look like (but always with room for creativity):

  • Relationship Building & Strategy

Identify and engage new sponsorship opportunities; craft thoughtful outreach strategies with measurable goals.
  • Proposal & Package Development

Create compelling, tailored sponsorship offers that align with both corporate partners' objectives and our Foundation's mission.
  • Activation & Delivery

Set expectations, follow through with flair, roll out activations, execute branded benefits, issue recognition, and deliver heartfelt thank-you's.
  • Impact Tracking

Manage agreements, track performance, and report outcomes—ensuring partners are always in the loop and wowed by the impact of their support.
  • Cross-team Collaboration

Work closely with Events, Marketing, Programs, and Research teams to weave sponsor benefits into everything we do—from gala evenings to facility upgrades.
  • Community Ambassadorship

Represent the Foundation at community events and corporate meetings—sharing our story with warmth, pride, and passion.

You Bring These Superpowers

  • 3+ years experience in corporate sponsorships, partnerships, or business development—bonus if you've rocked roles in non-profits or healthcare.
  • A living portfolio of successful sponsorships—businesses that came, stayed, and partnered year after year.
  • Communication that sparkles—you sell ideas, stories, and shared causes with charisma and heart.
  • Project-savvy—juggle contracts, timelines, and deliverables with ease and precision.
  • Tech fluency—comfortable with design software, such as Canva, CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and fundraising databases, such as Raisers Edge.
  • Team spirit—you're collaborative, inclusive, and grounded in equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Why You'll Love This Gig

  • Real Impact: Your work helps push healthcare forward in ways that are meaningful and measurable.
  • Flexibility with Connection: Hybrid model—three days a week in Toronto's lively office, two days from the comfort of home.
  • Supportive, Inclusive Culture: You'll be celebrated, supported, and encouraged by a team that truly cares.
  • Growth & Innovation: This is where good ideas turn into forward-thinking action and healthcare innovation comes alive.

Perks, Benefits, and Everything Nice

  • Health and dental coverage, personal time, vacation, professional development, and an employer contribution to pension/retirement savings.
  • A caring team with a culture of celebration, support, and collaboration.
  • A mission-driven workplace where diversity, equity, and belonging aren't just words—they're how we win together.

Why You'll Love It Here

At Humber River Health Foundation, we're more than just a team — we're a community working together to transform healthcare. We care deeply about the people we serve and the people we work with. You'll be part of a team that appreciates both a well-run office and a good laugh over lunch.
