Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Snow Plow Operator to efficiently clear snow and ice from designated roadways, parking lots, and walkways during winter months. The ideal candidate will have experience operating snow removal equipment . This role is vital for ensuring safety and accessibility during inclement weather conditions, supporting community mobility and business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Operate snow plow trucks and related equipment to remove snow and ice from roads, parking lots, sidewalks, and other designated areas
  • Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on plow vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal functioning
  • Coordinate with team members to prioritize routes and ensure timely snow removal during storm events
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed, equipment used, and materials applied
  • Report any mechanical issues or safety hazards promptly for repair or resolution

Qualifications

  • Proven experience operating snow plow trucks or similar heavy machinery
  • Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction or landscaping equipment is a plus
  • Knowledge of irrigation, gardening, horticulture, landscape maintenance, or construction is advantageous but not required
  • Ability to work in cold weather conditions for extended periods
  • Strong attention to safety protocols and ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required

This position offers an essential service during winter weather, ensuring safe passage for the community while supporting ongoing maintenance operations.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
