We are seeking skilled Metal Structural Cladders to join our construction team. This role involves installing and securing metal panels and cladding on various structural frameworks, ensuring the durability and aesthetic appeal of building exteriors. The ideal candidate will have experience working with metal materials, possess strong attention to detail, and demonstrate a commitment to safety and quality standards.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications related to metal cladding projects.
- Measure, cut, and prepare metal panels for installation according to project requirements.
- Install metal panels, siding, and other cladding materials onto structural frameworks using appropriate tools and fasteners.
- Ensure proper alignment, fastening, and sealing of all installed components to meet safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate work schedules and ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain a clean work environment, including proper storage of materials and disposal of waste.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment at all times during work activities.
Experience
- Prior experience in metal framing or cladding installation is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates.
- Knowledge of reading blueprints and technical drawings is advantageous.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment used in construction environments.
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a focus on quality workmanship.
