JOB SUMMARY

The ideal candidate will create and maintain dynamic dashboards and reports using Power BI, Power Query, and Excel, providing actionable insights to support project decision-making. A background in construction or familiarity with construction-related data is an asset. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to drive data-driven solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES


•Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to support decision-making.


•Utilize Power Query and advanced Excel techniques for data preparation, transformation, and analysis.


•Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.


•Ensure data accuracy and consistency by implementing effective data validation and quality control processes.


•Analyze project performance metrics and provide regular updates to the Project Controls lead.


•Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying trends and opportunities for optimization.

DESIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, COMPETENCIES


•Proven experience with Power BI, Power Query, and Excel (advanced level).


•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.


•Familiarity with data visualization best practices.


•Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain data findings to non-technical stakeholders.


•Preferred: Background in the construction industry or experience working with construction-related data.

Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Construction Management, or a related field.
