Summary
We are seeking a skilled Class 1 Dump Truck Driver to join our team for snow clearing with The City of Prince George. This will be a seasonal evening shift. Work is available as long as there is snow on the ground.
Responsibilities
- Operate dump truck and pup safely and efficiently.
- Haul snow and ice from streets to ensure safe working conditions.
- Perform routine maintenance on snow removal equipment.
- Collaborate with site managers to prioritize snow removal tasks.
- Monitor weather conditions and adjust operations accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records of hours worked and equipment usage.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment, particularly dump trucks.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to snow removal operations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in construction or related fields is an asset.
