Join our team as a Millwright

Ewing Fabricators Inc. is seeking a Millwright to join its team. This position plays a key role in maintaining, repairing, and rebuilding machinery used in daily operations, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance across all systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, align, dismantle, and move industrial machinery and mechanical components using appropriate tools and rigging methods.
  • Perform both preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems and rotating equipment.
  • Diagnose faults, replace worn or defective parts, and rebuild equipment as needed.
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Collaborate with electricians, welders, and operations staff to complete installations or repairs safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and ensure all work complies with safety and company procedures.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives to extend equipment life and reduce unplanned downtime.

Requirements:

  • Valid Millwright (433A) Certificate of Qualification.
  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in an industrial, construction, or manufacturing setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and bearing assemblies.
  • Competent in the use of precision measuring tools and alignment techniques.
  • Welding and fabrication skills are an asset.
  • Strong safety awareness and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Capable of working in varying environments (shop, plant, or field) and responding to emergency repairs when required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $50.16 per hour
