Job DescriptionFounded in 2015, DOZR is the world's first intelligent comprehensive search for heavy equipment and the largest online equipment rental platform. DOZR leverages technology to empower contractors across North America to run their businesses more efficiently.
We are looking for a Data Analyst to mine, analyze, and communicate high impact data that different stakeholder teams (sales, accounting, marketing, product) need to function optimally. Our ideal candidate will have experience synchronizing different data sources into a single dashboard used by the executives, as well as operational dashboards and ad-hoc reports used across the organization. If you have previous experience, want to roll up your sleeves and act as a single source of truth for all data at an exciting growth-stage company, we'd like to meet you.
In a typical day, you might:
Mine data from primary and secondary sources, then reorganize said data in a format that can be easily read by either human or machine.
Prepare reports for executive leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
Collaborate with programmers, engineers, and organizational leaders to identify opportunities for process improvements, recommend system modifications, and develop policies for data governance.
Use statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts.
Create appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis process and duplicate or replicate the analysis if necessary.
Skills:
Strong business acumen, able to translate business and analytics needs to engineers
Experience working with Tableau and modeling data
Scripting experience in the following languages: Javascript (typescript is a plus), python
Experience with noSQL and SQL databases; MongoDB is an asset
Experience working with CAC and LTV, sales and marketing attribution and customer retention
Experience working with user journey tracking tools such as Mixpanel or Amplitude
Experience with google analytics, google tag manager, and facebook pixel is an asset
