Role Description
This part-time, on-site position is for an Assistant Kitchen Manager at Fine Food Productions in Mississauga, Ontario. The Assistant Kitchen Manager will ensure tenants adhere to food health guidelines and safety standards outlined by Federal and Municipal Health Department regulations while keeping the facility clean and well-maintained.
Qualifications
- Understanding of food quality control and safety
- Experience in kitchen management
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to details
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- A valid food handler certificate is a must
- PR or Citizenship is a must
- Ability to deal with issues and handle stressful situations
Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Meetings with potential customers to show the kitchen (no sales involved)
- New customers' orientation meetings
- Meetings with the Health Inspector
- Pest Control (internal)
- Facility Safety and Quality Control (internal)
- Internal Health Inspections/Audits of existing customers
- Meetings with technicians
- Cleaning
- other
Hours:
Up to 20 hr a week. The hours can be changed either way based on the kitchen load, but this is discussed in advance.
Schedule:
Overnight - Early Morning hours
Pay
: $22/hr
