Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food Service Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our hospitality environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising food preparation, ensuring exceptional service standards, and maintaining food safety protocols. Duties

  • Knowledge of Calabar Delicacies,Nigerian food and Carribean.
  • Supervise and coordinate food preparation and cooking activities to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food production, presentation, and service.
  • Manage and motivate a team of kitchen staff and servers, fostering a positive working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times.
  • Assist in training new staff members on food safety procedures, service standards, and kitchen practices.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies to maintain smooth operations.
  • Handle customer enquiries or complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with management to develop menus that meet quality standards and customer preferences.

Qualifications

  • Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting.
  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices.
  • Excellent team management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively.
  • Previous experience in food service roles such as serving, barista work, or culinary positions is desirable.
  • Knowledge of kitchen operations, food production processes, and hospitality industry standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Good organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about delivering high-quality food services while leading a professional team in a vibrant environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to $36.00 per hour
