Video - More than a Window

As a Product Approval Specialist, you will be part of the Drafting and Design Solutions Team. Interacting directly with our dealers all across North America to develop customized solutions for their unique design requirements, partnering internally with members from Loewen's Design, Marketing, Engineering, Purchasing and Manufacturing teams. In simple terms, your role is to help turn Loewen's customers' dreams into reality.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide solutions for custom product requests, suggesting alternative options where needed
  • Process custom approval requests
  • Work with internal partners to determine viability and alternatives for customer requests
  • Negotiate acceptable alternatives with customer/sales representative
  • Communicate approval conclusions in full detail to all applicable parties
  • Communication with manufacturing, internal and external sales representatives, Dealers, and occasionally to Architects, Engineers, and contractors as needed 

What you will bring to this role:

  • 2-4 years experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in residential or commercial construction methodologies
  • Certificate in Drafting with excellent CAD skills
  • Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting, and analytic skills
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Strong written and oral communication skills (in English)
