As a General Accountant, you'll play a key role in ensuring the financial heartbeat of our entertainment and hospitality operations runs smoothly. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, you'll manage day-to-day accounting activities across multiple business lines — from events and food services to attractions.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Maintain accurate general ledger records and perform month-end and year-end close processes
  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial schedules
  • Support financial reporting and analysis for various departments (events, catering, amusement, attractions)
  • Assist on ensuring compliance with ASPE and internal controls
  • Support external audit and tax preparation activities
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow across venues and events as required
  • Participate in developing procedures in line with accounting standards and practices
  • Continuously improve processes to drive efficiency and accuracy across finance functions
  • Additional analysis and reporting, as requested. Other duties and analysis as assigned

Job Specifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field
  • CPA designation or in pursuit considered an asset
  • 1–3 years of general accounting experience (hospitality or multi-entity experience an asset)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliation processes
  • Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite, or similar ERP an asset)
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
  • Positive, team-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
  • Position is based out of Head Office Location, some travel is required to off-site locations
  • Weekend and evening hours are required as necessary

This is a permanent, full-time position. In office Monday to Friday.
