Now Hiring: MacLean Bolter Operators at Glencore's Kidd Creek site in Timmins, Ontario    We need safe and experienced MacLean Bolter Operators to bolt and screen in development headings in the deepest base metal mine in the world

Primary Duties

  • Operate MacLean Bolter to install primary and secondary ground support (rock bolts, mesh, screen) in development headings according to the mine plan.
  • Perform pre-operational inspections and ensure safe, efficient operation of mechanized bolting equipment.
  • Inspect and scale loose rock in headings to maintain workplace safety.

Required Skills and Qualifications 

  • Ontario Basic Underground Hard Rock Mining Modules
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in conventional mining
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision in team environment
  • Outstanding safety record
