missions :

Veterinary Services Manager, Companion Animal

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the Veterinary Services Specialist is responsible for:

Acting as a Technical Expert in terms of Ceva's Product Ranges, responding to product related questions and issues, and guiding/supporting Customers, and Ceva's Territory Managers, towards successful Veterinary Services outcomes. Being involved in generating a solid network of Professionals and Key Stakeholders within the industry.Being responsible for the continuous monitoring of products (therefore spending most of the time in the field.)

Accountabilities:

Implement the Local Customer Plan, based on the Canadian Strategy and Corporate Guidelines Act as the first point of contact in the field, implementing effective market support, following up on product deployments and generating evidence on product successesReview, and update, the Local Customer Plan for every Customer during monthly meetings with the Companion Animal TeamCollaborate on the creation of technical articlesEnsure alignment with Corporate Strategic/Key Account Management and MarketingPublish technical articlesWork with Marketing and the Business Unit Manager on creating and rolling out innovative product launch programsMaintain positive relationships with Customers via regular visits, events and/or callsCollaborate with all local teams, in order to ensure the successful execution of the Local Customer PlanParticipate actively in the discovery steps for Key AccountsAct as a key contact to build trust and credibility within the local marketIn the case of Customers requiring troubleshooting, demonstrate responsiveness by scheduling visits immediately and taking the actions necessary to resolve the reported issuesConduct regular Customer visits and provide professional consultations, communicate with Customers on a weekly/monthly basis (depending on monitored results), and plan reviews on a yearly basis for more detailed results analyses/feedbackProvide technical and scientific advice to Customer- and Sales personnelParticipate regularly in Business Reviews with Key CustomersAttending regular Corporate-led training, congresses, seminars and events in his/her professional areas of expertiseSelf-train on new technical updates, in order to maintain high levels of expertise, and share that knowledge with the teamDevelop training on technical activities, with the aim of sharing this knowledge with CustomersEnsure technical training of the Business Unit's local organization, supporting Customer Services/Sales team activitiesDevelop training on technical activities, with the aim of sharing this knowledge with Key CustomersDefine specific Customers' trialsEnsure valuable monitoring of products by receiving, collecting and analyzing samples from CustomersShare collected information with Customers and store the information, in the available tools, for later projects.Ensure the quality of data collectedGive continuous feedback to the Business Unit Manager on achievements, problems and/or recent Customer updatesCommunicate activity protocols and trial results to colleaguesScientific Expertise Management and NetworkingMaintain networks with Animal Health institutes, laboratories, universities, Key Opinion Leaders, suppliers of equipment etc., in order to stay abreast of new technologiesDeliver diagnoses and Expert support, as neededMay have direct reports in the future
