Daycare Early Childhood Educator Assistant

Employment terms:

  • This is a part time position, no full time available
  • We do not support LMIA an BCPNP
  • 5 days a week: must able to work Monday to Friday between 7 am to 5:30 pm
  • Work in school age, and other age group

The qualifications:

  • Must have "BC ECE Assistant certificate"
  • Must be minimum 19 years old
  • Criminal Record Check
  • 3 professional references
  • Immunization record
  • Fast-learner
  • Good classroom management and organization skills

Responsibilities:

  • Daily set-up and clean-up
  • Provide strong & direct supervision to children
  • Ensure the health and safety of the children
  • Work as part of the team, which includes children, their parents, and the centre staff members, using the philosophy of the centre
  • Give and take direction while making informed decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development days
  • Communicate effectively with parents and staff
  • Maintain a safe, and positive learning environment for all children and their families Value and nurture the differences among all learners

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
