About AAE Group
AAE Group (APEX Active Entertainment) is the parent company behind two of Canada's most exciting and fast-growing brands:
APEX Adventure Plex
Western Canada's leader in adventuretainment, offering energetic, high-quality indoor entertainment experiences. With locations in Regina, Saskatoon, and Kamloops — and a new Winnipeg flagship opening March 2026 — APEX continues to define the active entertainment category.
Crazy Ape Extreme Equipment
Canada's premium manufacturer of high-performance, custom-built trampolines and extreme sports equipment. Proudly designed and built in Saskatchewan, Crazy Ape serves both consumer and commercial clients across North America, delivering unmatched craftsmanship, quality, and innovation.
Together, these brands are redefining active entertainment and performance equipment across North America — combining creativity, community, and quality under one group vision.
⸻
The Opportunity
AAE Group is seeking a Head of Marketing to lead the strategic direction, creative vision, and performance execution of all marketing activities across APEX Adventure Plex and Crazy Ape Extreme Equipment.
This position reports directly to the Managing Partners and collaborates closely with:
– General Managers at each APEX Adventure Plex location
– Sales Manager (Crazy Ape)
– Director of Operations (Crazy Ape)
This role also leads two key direct reports — the Marketing Manager and Digital Experience Manager — ensuring the marketing function delivers innovation, measurable results, and consistent brand storytelling.
AAE Group operates experience-driven businesses where strong marketing directly multiplies revenue. The Head of Marketing will shape demand, elevate brand presence, and unlock the scalability built into AAE's vertically integrated model.
This is a role for a leader who can balance creative thinking with data-driven strategy — guiding how our brands communicate, grow, and connect with audiences across markets, platforms, and experiences.

• Ensure consistent positioning, messaging, and storytelling across channels and customer segments.
• Lead marketing strategy for new market expansions, including the APEX Adventure Plex Winnipeg launch.

• Guide content and automation within Patch Retention (APEX) and Mailchimp (Crazy Ape).
• Drive SEO, email marketing, and user-experience improvements across WordPress and Shopify platforms.

• Lead creative planning and production across digital, social, video, and print.
• Maintain distinct brand voices:
• APEX: Energetic, inclusive, family-focused, community-driven
• Crazy Ape: Premium, technical, craftsmanship-oriented
• Oversee photography, video, and promotional content aligned with brand identity.
• Collaborate on major campaigns, trade shows, and events.
Leadership & Collaboration
• Manage and mentor the Marketing Manager and Digital Experience Manager.
• Work cross-functionally with operations, sales, and leadership teams.
• Provide regular reports to Managing Partners on marketing performance, ROI, and strategic opportunities.

• Demonstrated ability in brand strategy, creative execution, and digital performance.
• Proven success managing teams and developing talent.
• Strong knowledge of paid media, content marketing, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
• Proficient with Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, GA4, GTM, WordPress, Shopify, and email automation tools.
