Job Summary:

You will be part of our Reception team. You will be working Permanent Full-Time. This job is for Monday to Friday, however, availability on the evenings (until 8pm) or weekends (9-2) is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities as a Receptionist may include:

  • Answer phones, directs call to others if required or assist patient with booking appointment, cancelling and rebooking appointments
  • Greets patients, checks them in, updates all pertinent information
  • Call to confirm appointments and checks confirmation line
  • Prepares day sheets for all the Providers
  • Accepts forms, letters, documents from patient for processing and records transactions in patient's file
  • Deal with incoming faxes and emails
  • Accepts delivery of parcels and directs to appropriate person

Required Skills:

  • Must have at least 2 years of experience working in a busy medical office setting or similiar.
  • Must be able to multi-task in a busy environment and have very strong computer and communication skills
  • Must have medical terminology with strong written and oral skills
  • Must be a self starter, very motivated and very focused with the task on hand.
  • Attention to detail is a must and able to take direction if needed.
  • Be a team player and very flexible.
  • Should have a current CPR certification and able to show proof of, or willing to obtain.
  • Must have up-to-date vaccinations
