The working weld supervisor is to monitor weld operations at the floor level while performing regular manufacturing duties. This is anticipated to be a 50% work 50% weld supervisor. The objective is to improve quality, efficiency and reduce rework at the source to improve production throughput by minimizing error.

· Must have a strong knowledge of Welding to CWB standards.

· All certifications must be kept current. (preference goes to applicants with existing certificate)

· Fill out all QC paperwork completely in full as required.

· Ensuring all welding wire, rods and other consumables are appropriate for the job before use.

· Must wear all required PPE and follow all safety policies and procedures.

· Must be able to work independently, stay on task, be efficient and adhere to time sensitive schedules.

· Have a high skill level with a proven track record of high quality and on time task completion.

· Effective verbal and listening communications skills.

· Strong writing and reading skills.

· Attention to detail and time management skills.

· Personable in dealing with coworkers and supervisors.

· Must participate in audits, procedure qualifications and testing.

Must be willing to train and coach.

Pay: $79,000.00-$81,000.00 per year
