Profound Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing is an installer of heating, ventilation and plumbing systems located in Corbeil and servicing the Nipissing district in mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems in new home construction and home renovations.

We are looking for a Licensed Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our team.

As a Licensed Sheet Metal Mechanic, you will be expected to:

  • Build and install sheet metal components for HVAC systems
  • Measure, cut, and shape sheet metal using specialized tools and equipment
  • Weld or solder sheet metal parts together to create a secure and durable connection
  • Maintain and repair existing sheet metal installations
  • Install ductwork, vents, and other HVAC components according to blueprints and specifications
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and accurate completion of projects

Qualifications:

  • Must hold valid 308A Certificate with Skilled Trades Ontario
  • Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic or similar role
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of HVAC systems
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
  • Ability to operate sheet metal fabrication tools and equipment safely
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise
  • Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
