As a Territory Manager, you will play a critical role in driving sales, building strong customer relationships, and promoting PPG's Automotive Refinish products and solutions. You will report to the Regional Manager and manage an assigned customer base, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets to contribute to the overall success of PPG's Automotive Refinish business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively promote and sell PPG's Automotive Refinish products and solutions to existing and potential customers within the territory.

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and business plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.

  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and industry developments related to the Automotive Collision Industry and Automotive Refinish products. Use this knowledge to identify new business opportunities, product gaps, and potential areas of growth within the territory.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer segments including Collision Centers, Fleet & Light Industrial Coating (LIC) accounts and Distribution channels. Understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service while addressing any concerns or issues promptly.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and progress towards sales targets. Prepare regular sales reports and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and effective business strategies.

  • Develop an understanding of PPG's Automotive Refinish product portfolio and be able to provide technical support and guidance to customers. Conduct product demonstrations, trainings, and workshops to showcase the benefits and proper application of PPG products.

  • Collaboration with marketing, product management, and customer support to align strategies, leverage resources, and enhance the overall customer experience.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma is required.

  • 2+ years of related experience.

  • Prior collision, automotive or coatings experience would be advantageous.

  • This role will cover business requirements for the whole territory of Canada and hence requires a bilingual (French-English) candidate.

  • Valid driver's license is required.

Principales responsabilités

  • Promouvoir et vendre activement les produits et solutions de finition automobile de PPG auprès des clients existants et potentiels du territoire.

  • Élaborer et mettre en œuvre des stratégies commerciales et des plans d'affaires efficaces pour atteindre et dépasser les objectifs de vente.

  • Suivre les tendances du marché, la concurrence et les évolutions du secteur liées à la carrosserie automobile et aux produits de finition automobile. Utiliser ces connaissances pour identifier de nouvelles opportunités commerciales, les lacunes des produits et les axes de croissance potentiels sur le territoire.

  • Établir et entretenir des relations solides avec des segments de clientèle clés, notamment les centres de carrosserie, les comptes de revêtements pour flottes et industries légères (LIC) et les canaux de distribution. Comprendre leurs besoins et offrir un service client exceptionnel tout en répondant rapidement à leurs préoccupations ou problèmes.

  • Tenir des registres précis et à jour des activités de vente, des interactions avec les clients et des progrès réalisés par rapport aux objectifs de vente. Préparer des rapports de vente réguliers et analyser les données afin d'identifier les points à améliorer et les stratégies commerciales efficaces.

  • Développer une compréhension approfondie du portefeuille de produits de finition automobile de PPG et être en mesure de fournir un soutien technique et des conseils aux clients. Organiser des démonstrations de produits, des formations et des ateliers pour présenter les avantages et la bonne application des produits PPG.

  • Collaborer avec le marketing, la gestion des produits et le service client afin d'harmoniser les stratégies, d'optimiser les ressources et d'améliorer l'expérience client globale.

Qualifications

  • Diplôme d'études secondaires requis.

  • Au moins deux années d'expérience pertinente. Une expérience préalable en carrosserie, en automobile ou en revêtements serait un atout.

  • Ce poste couvrira les besoins de l'entreprise pour l'ensemble du territoire canadien et requiert donc un candidat bilingue (français-anglais).

  • Un permis de conduire valide est requis.
