Production Manager
at
Milton, ON
location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily production activities to ensure adherence to quality standards and fulfillment of customer requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and enhance operational performance.
- Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to improve efficiency and minimize waste.
- Formulate and execute production strategies aligned with overall plant objectives.
- Track and analyze KPIs, driving continuous improvement through tier meetings and the PDCA cycle.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing production team to achieve excellence.
- Conduct performance evaluations, training sessions, and development initiatives to build team capability.
- Oversee budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation to maximize operational effectiveness.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or Operations Management.
- Minimum 5-7 years of leadership experience in a continuous flow and automated manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated success in operations management, process improvement, and lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Strong financial acumen with hands-on experience in managing P&L, budgeting, and driving cost efficiencies.
- Skilled communicator and effective team leader with prior experience working in a unionized setting.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office applications and production reporting systems.
