Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the varying levels of English proficiency among students.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods and materials to engage students in learning.
  • Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages participation and collaboration.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student development.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of students, including those with different learning styles.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in teaching or tutoring, particularly in an ESL or related field.
  • Experience working with children is highly desirable.
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create an inclusive environment.
  • Proficiency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A degree in Education, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with various ESL teaching methodologies and resources is a plus.
