Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee complex projects across various domains, including IT, product development, and organizational initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of diverse project management methodologies such as Agile, SAFe, Waterfall, and PMBOK. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing vendor relationships, mitigating risks, and ensuring successful project delivery aligned with organizational goals. The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in driving project success through strategic planning, effective stakeholder engagement, and rigorous quality management.

Duties

  • Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure using appropriate project management methodologies.
  • Develop detailed project plans utilizing tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Jira, Trello, or SharePoint.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and resources to ensure timely delivery within scope.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Oversee vendor management activities including negotiations and performance evaluations.
  • Implement change management strategies to adapt to evolving project needs while minimizing disruptions.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration across departments.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to address potential project challenges.
  • Track project progress through data analysis skills and data collection techniques; prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and organizational policies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead program management efforts for multiple related projects to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Utilize tools such as ServiceNow, Workday, Basecamp, SharePoint, Project Server, or Visio for documentation and workflow management.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in IT project management with a strong background in Agile (including SAFe), Waterfall, Kanban, and other methodologies like PMBOK.
  • Demonstrated supervising experience with team management and leadership capabilities.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Trello, Visio, SharePoint, or similar platforms.
  • Strong vendor management skills including negotiation and performance oversight.
  • Expertise in requirements management and requirements gathering processes.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Workday) and product management principles.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools such as SAS or Salesforce is advantageous.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and presentation delivery.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining focus on strategic objectives.

Pay: $63,355.81-$102,461.52 per year
