Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Construction Estimator based in St John's, NL. The Construction Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, performing quantity take-offs, developing project budgets, and ensuring effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. Additional responsibilities include analyzing project requirements, coordinating with vendors, and providing support during project execution to maintain cost efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Construction Estimating and Quantity Take-offs
  • Strong skills in Cost Management and Budgeting
  • Excellent Communication skills for effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing cost estimates
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools for estimating and planning is a strong asset
  • Previous experience in the construction or building systems industry is preferred
  • Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
