You'll support the CEO, CTO, and commercial team by keeping the pipeline organized, triaging inbound, preparing materials, and helping Farpoint focus only on the highest-value opportunities.
What You'll Do
As a Business Development Associate, you will be at the centre of our commercial engine—keeping the pipeline healthy, opportunities organized, and leadership focused. You'll help us prevent "IKEA bias," where founders try to do everything themselves instead of making the right calls on what to pursue.
Typical responsibilities include:
1. Pipeline and Opportunity Management
- Maintain and continuously update the pipeline in our CRM
- Sort, triage, and evaluate inbound leads using structured criteria
- Help leadership decide which opportunities to decline vs prioritize
- Prepare short briefs and pre-reads so senior leaders can make quick decisions
2. Client Outreach & Meeting Coordination
- Conduct targeted outbound to enterprise and mid-market prospects
- Coordinate intro calls, follow-ups, and scheduling across multiple time zones
- Manage communications so prospects always have a clear next step
- Ensure the CEO isn't pulled into unnecessary meetings
3. Decks, Proposals & High-Level Marketing Support
- Build clean, high-quality proposal decks and sales materials
- Support case studies, one-pagers, and capability overviews
- Draft first-pass proposals and scopes for leadership review
- Help shape messaging based on what resonates with clients
4. Internal Coordination & Team Support
- Work with engineering, consulting, and product teams to gather inputs for proposals
- Bring the right executives together to evaluate deals
- Keep weekly sales standups organized and running smoothly
- Track follow-ups and ensure nothing slips
What We're Looking For
This is a
junior–intermediate role
(1–3 years experience). We will train the right person.

You can write concise emails, take good notes, ask good questions, and represent Farpoint professionally.

You keep systems updated, follow up without being asked, and ensure meetings, decks, and materials are ready ahead of time.
Comfortable Talking to Clients
You genuinely enjoy speaking with people, diagnosing high-level needs, and helping shape next steps.
Curious About AI & Technology
You don't need to be an engineer. You just need to care about how AI is changing how businesses operate.
Bonus but Not Required:
- Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive)
- Prior lead-gen, prospecting, or BDR experience
- Exposure to consulting, startups, or professional services
- Ability to build simple decks in Google Slides or PowerPoint
Salary
$55,000–$65,000 base salary + performance-based bonuses tied to pipeline and business development milestones.
Additional incentives may include:
- RSUs
- Project bonuses
- Training & development budget
Total compensation will depend on experience and fit.
