Role Description:

Begoniax is currently seeking passionate and qualified Teachers for the following subjects:

  • English
  • Chinese
  • Math

These are fulltime/contract/part-time positions located in White Rock and South Surrey, BC. Teachers will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons in their subject areas, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons for K-12 students in the respective subject area.
  • Create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
  • Monitor and assess student performance, offering feedback to guide their development.
  • Maintain a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation.
  • Collaborate with other educators and staff to ensure student success.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree or certification in the subject area.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development.
  • Ability to create engaging and effective learning activities.
  • For English/French Teachers: Native and experience with ESL/FSL preferred.
  • For Math Teachers: Experience with IMO, CEMC and AMC is preferred.
  • For Chinese Teachers: Experience with LingoAce, and ICA certification is preferred.
  • A clear criminal record.
